cracked cast iron pipes - need replacement ASAP


1900th old cistern (concrete reservoir that collects outside water from gutters) was still active in this house, despite unhealthy condition

 



Not very often we can see active interior lead water pipes (as well as galvanize)

 

This laundry damping “water” into sump pit, then pumped outside, which is illegal

 


Very interesting substitution of sheet metal for cast iron (see middle section)

 



Looks like duct tape and even electric tape is “best friends” of these home owners
